SUNGOLD is the newest technology in tall fescue
developed by Pure-Seed Testing (Rolesville, NC &
Canby, OR). Sungold’s self-repairing system contains
the best and most resilient tall fescue cultivars ever
developed by PST. Through applied research trials
evaluating all aspects of tall fescue performance, we
have chosen only the top-rated varieties to be included
in the SUNGOLD blend. Careful attention towards
disease resistance, particularly brown patch has been a
key part of the selection process. Heat and drought
tolerance have also played key roles in selecting the
strongest varieties to offer in this elite blend.
SUNGOLD has the added advantage of being
endophyte enhanced to offer value-added protection
against other pests and disease.
